Little Tent was born in 2017 from a desire to change work for the better.

A Creative, Courageous, Compassion-led Partnership

It’s almost become a cliché to point it out, but we are in a new era of work. The drivers are multifaceted, but the meaning is clear: a need for increased organisational and personal resilience (bear with me, I have caveats around this word that I’ll explore another time), a human-centric approach and a focus on sustainability. We have five generations in the workplace, an increasingly dispersed workforce and a genuine focus on wellbeing like never before. Oh, and did someone mention AI? 

The need for healthy organisational cultures led by compassionate, trusted leaders who can navigate ambiguity, create a sense of purpose and a foster a psychologically safe environment for their people to thrive matters more than ever before.  

Culture change takes time. It takes commitment. It’s a journey. It’s complex. It’s multi-faceted. 

Time and time again I work with leaders who, alongside their personal leadership journey, are grappling with how to engage their teams through this brave new world and how to shift their organisational cultures to meet the demands of this revolution. Often they struggle with engaging and communicating with their people in this noisy new context. It can feel overwhelming, if not frustrating, but the benefits of getting it right are worth the journey.  

So, I’ve been incredibly excited to work more and more with a consultancy that I’ve trusted as a client in a previous life, and as a partner over the past few years. And, as we both look to the future and reflect on our clients’ challenges, we realised this partnership is enabling us to fully respond to what our client partners really need from us. 

With this in mind Little Tent and Woodreed are formalising the partnership. Yes, buy that hat!

To mark the start of Woodreed X Little Tent ‘Start the week with Lorna and Lottie’ where we chew the fat on anything and everything centred on culture, communication and leadership while sharing a little joy and lightness on a Monday. We’re also going be co creating lots of (hopefully) insightful new thought papers on a range of current topics.
